Maria Orozova

President

As the President + Creative Director of MOD, Maria has more than a decade of experience developing advertising and branding campaigns for local and national clients. Her work has earned 16 ADDY® awards & 39 American Graphic Design Awards, and she was selected as one of Graphic Design USA Magazine's “People to Watch". Maria is also a featured writer for elite publications such as Entrepreneur Magazine, Texas CEO Magazine and Austin Business Journal. Always the entrepreneur, she started MODpaper, a luxury couture invitation design studio. She also finds time to serve on the Board of Directors for the Center for Child Protection, the Fashion Marketing Advisory Board for The Art Institute of Austin, both Girls Empowerment Network (GEN)'s Board of Directors and planning committee for the Pathfinder program. She is a long time supporter of the National Children's Alliance and Ballet Austin and was also selected as a finalist in the 2015 and 2016 Austin Under 40 Awards. In addition to her professional and volunteer duties, Maria also pursues a wide range of personal interests, including skiing, interior design and adding to the ever-growing list of countries she has visited - 29 in total.

Scott Thomas

Marketing Director

With a background working with such industry leaders as Accenture, American Express, AT&T, Bank of America, Cisco Systems, Citicorp, Dell, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Panasonic, Siemens, Yahoo and numerous high-growth companies, Scott creates and executes our new go-to-market strategies, leads marketing and brand transformations and implements in-market programs for regional and national clients. His vast knowledge in the industry on the topics of B2B lead generation has earned him numerous speaking engagements including the Integrated Marketing Summit.  A graduate from Duke University, he's also been a finalist for the Austin Under 40 Awards for 2 years and is the president of revenue growth agency, Intelechy Group. He is an avid supporter of Austin's Habitat Young Professionals and Ballet Austin. In his spare time, this nature-lover enjoys hanging out with his dog, watching Duke Basketball and is committed to visiting at least one new country each year.

Bianca Krause

Creative Director

Bianca’s early interest in art and typography quickly led to a full-time obsession with visual communication, and she continues to pursue her passion at MOD creating an array of solutions for clients. She has worked with nationally-recognized brands such as Exclusive ResortsDell, Indeed, Four Season Residences, among others, and her keen eye for design and innate ability to implement high-level creative concepts as part of an overall marketing strategy has earned her national recognition, including a special feature as a marketing expert for the show Restaurant Redemption on the Cooking Channel. When she kicks that creativity into low gear, you can find this University of Texas grad unwinding at Vino Vino, flipping through Communication Arts or shopping for new shoes at her favorite Austin boutiques.

Michael Nink

Account Director

Michael has nearly two decades of experience developing and executing a range of successful internal and external marketing and communication strategies. Michael’s background includes working with both B2B and consumer clients producing regional, national and global advertising, demand generation and online campaigns. His impressive list of client relationships includes Rackspace, AT&T and BazaarVoice, where he was responsible for a $2 million client portfolio that included Adidas, Reebok, TaylorMade Golf, Singer, Kolcraft, and Avery Dennison. Away from the office, Michael stays busy with various non-profits such as the Young Men’s Business League, where he acted as President in 2009, as well as the Austin Sunshine Camps, where he served on the Board of Directors for 8 years. Not one to rest for long, Michael can also be found practicing for a Half Ironman, gardening, barbecuing or watching Texas Longhorn football.

Pam Perez

Technology Director

Pam has more than 20 years of experience working on large-enterprise data solutions. Participating in all facets of the development life-cycle, she has gained an understanding of project development that allows her to quickly become a key contributor. Pam’s technical skills include writing complex SQL in various database management systems, Microsoft SQL Server Replication, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, SurveyWriter, PowerBuilder and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. Prior to joining the team, Pam ran her own consulting company, implementing successful solutions at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Seton Medical Management Resources and Pyle Research Group. She also spent time working at a non-profit children’s home to assist in their database management for direct mail campaigns. In her spare time, Pam loves spending time with her family, cooking out with friends and playing tennis.
